Spectators: 7092 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Agustin Oinaz made the kick off which started today's match. Agustin Oinaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Matias Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejo Dolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Butacó's Juan Avellaneda got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 21 played minutes, Rosario's Leandro Lluterio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benicio Cordarin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rosario reached it. 23 minutes into the game, Butacó's Freddy Ovando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Umea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Freddy Ovando's late challenge caught a Rosario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Ovando helped the player get up and apologised. Benicio Cordarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Azevedo in the 32nd minute of play. Rosario's Matias Umea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Oinaz in the 33rd minute of play. When Ovidio Txerran fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Butacó's protests and gave Ovidio Txerran a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rosario booed when Butacó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Txerran didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Dolfo in the 43rd minute of play forced Butacó's goalkeeper Benicio Cordarin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Freddy Ovando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Butacó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Ovando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejo Dolfo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Butacó's goalkeeper Benicio Cordarin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Denis Thomas fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 57th match minute, Butacó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Thomas to maneuver through the defense. Benicio Cordarin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matias Umea came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Butacó's Freddy Ovando. But to his dismay, Freddy Ovando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Rosario's Matias Umea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Oinaz in the 69th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Butacó got a freekick which was hit by Juan Avellaneda. In the 77th minute Alejo Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Oinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Umea having to interfere. Mateo Tello charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Tello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mateo Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match.
