In the 26th minute, Celso Kelemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 minutes, Cristo Firman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ares fc and the Ñapinda players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, Ñapinda's Filomeno Beltza got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vinicio Mitxel. Antonio Egoi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Marcelino Belasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Evis in the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Vicente Olayo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vinicio Mitxel. The goal made the score 4-1.

The wind increased when Aureliano Herauso made the kick off in the second half. Ares fc's Reynaldo Evis got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Ñapinda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ares fc:s goal. In the 59th minute of the game, Ares fc got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Amadeo Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ñapinda's Marcelino Belasko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Ñapinda from getting a goal against them. Celso Kelemen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelino Belasko having to make a save. Reynaldo Evis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Belasko having to interfere. Aureliano Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Vinicio Mitxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Herauso might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinicio Mitxel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Herauso ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Ares fc's zone, Aureliano Herauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Mitxel came out of the goal and Aureliano Herauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Ñapinda's goalkeeper Marcelino Belasko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Kelemen. After 77 played minutes Ñapinda got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Aztore. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Kelemen got free with Marcelino Belasko in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Ñapinda getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Vicente Olayo hit a great ball. If Celso Kelemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Celso Kelemen notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Ñapinda's Marcelino Belasko. Marcelino Belasko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reynaldo Evis struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Marcelino Belasko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ares fc. Marcelino Belasko made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Celso Kelemen sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 89 minutes, Celso Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ares fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Kelemen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Evis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marcelino Belasko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ñapinda fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ares fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
