The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfredo Manilan kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ares fc's Celso Kelemen got a free kick in the 7th minute. The Uzcudum AFC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Uzcudum AFC's Arnaldo Milian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cirilo James made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ares fc's Alfredo Manilan. Arnaldo Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andres Oihenarte's late challenge caught a Uzcudum AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Oihenarte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Andres Oihenarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 minutes Ares fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Israel Ruy who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Milian in the 31st minute of play forced Ares fc's goalkeeper Vinicio Mitxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Oihenarte was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Andres Oihenarte hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ares fc's zone, Celedonio Montay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Mitxel came out of the goal and Celedonio Montay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uzcudum AFC's Mauricio Dolcet got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Evis kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Milian in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinicio Mitxel prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Kelemen was the one to do the kick off. Ares fc's Vinicio Mitxel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Ares fc from getting a goal against them. Mauricio Dolcet hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ares fc's Delmar Lluis suffered a sore thigh after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Milian during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arnaldo Milian hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes, Alfredo Manilan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ares fc and the Uzcudum AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Uzcudum AFC booed when Ares fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Manilan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Milian dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vinicio Mitxel, 0-4. When Mauricio Dolcet fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uzcudum AFC's protests and gave Mauricio Dolcet a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Uzcudum AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Dolcet. Vinicio Mitxel made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Arnaldo Milian sent off a good shot on target. Celedonio Montay might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinicio Mitxel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celedonio Montay ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnaldo Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vinicio Mitxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Milians short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Vinicio Mitxel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tiburcio Odon took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Boniel. Octavio Boniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Uzcudum AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
