The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gonzalo Dominguez hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Rosario got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Lluterio. Severo Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severo Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rosario getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Severo Azevedo hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Sazon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uzcudum AFC the free kick. After 28 played minutes Rosario got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Sazon. Mauricio Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Matias Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With splendid footwork Arnaldo Milian arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 38th minute. Mauricio Dolcet's late challenge caught a Rosario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Dolcet helped the player get up and apologised. Mauricio Dolcet hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Mauricio Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Rosario's Alejo Dolfo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After 62 minutes, Arnaldo Milian made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rosario's Matias Umea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cirilo James struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Matias Umea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uzcudum AFC. In the 78th minute, Arnaldo Milian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario's zone, Cirilo James stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Umea came out of the goal and Cirilo James tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximiliano Ubarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Matias Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rosario booed when Uzcudum AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo James didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Uzcudum AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Dolfo came free, but Octavio Boniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Uzcudum AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Dolcet to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Alejo Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uzcudum AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
