Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 5477, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Agustin Oinaz started the match with the kick off. Isidoro Frascuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimiro Aznaro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Butacó's goalkeeper Benicio Cordarin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Frascuelo. After a rather tough play, C.A. Laureles Argentinos's Lorenzo Theodore got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Isidoro Frascuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Urtsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Gilabert in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Butacó booed when C.A. Laureles Argentinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Theodore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Cordarin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Frascuelo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Filiberto Gentza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Cordarin having to interfere. Butacó's Benicio Cordarin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Butacó from getting a goal against them. Fausto Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Isidoro Frascuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fausto Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Butacó's Denis Thomas got a free kick in the 31st minute. Isidoro Frascuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Cordarin having to interfere. Benicio Cordarin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Theodore in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Butacó's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Cortez came free, but Benicio Cordarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Butacó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Nahia to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Samuel Cortez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Isidoro Frascuelo made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Isidoro Frascuelo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Butacó's Benicio Cordarin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the game, C.A. Laureles Argentinos's Isidoro Frascuelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benicio Cordarin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Samuel Cortez hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Jose Urtsin was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Agustin Oinaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agustin Oinaz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 65th minute, Isidoro Frascuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Butacó! The referee gave C.A. Laureles Argentinos a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Samuel Cortez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Butacó's Benicio Cordarin. 3-1. Filiberto Gentza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Benicio Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Frascuelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benicio Cordarin having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Lorenzo Theodore managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Laureles Argentinos's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Theodore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Cordarin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benicio Cordarin came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Laureles Argentinos's Isidoro Frascuelo. But to his dismay, Isidoro Frascuelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Butacó's Freddy Ovando got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, C.A. Laureles Argentinos's Isidoro Frascuelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benicio Cordarin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benicio Cordarin came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Laureles Argentinos's Isidoro Frascuelo. But to his dismay, Isidoro Frascuelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.A. Laureles Argentinos fully deserved thier win.
