Antonio Bieito charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Bieito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ares fc booed when Yacanto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Yacanto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Rafe to maneuver through the defense. Ares fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Evis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ares fc's Celso Kelemen in 44 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jonatan Garikoitz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Vinicio Mitxel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiburcio Confesor in the 46th minute. Reynaldo Evis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Garikoitz having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Abadia was the one to do the kick off. Vinicio Mitxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Abadia in the 58th minute of the match. Celso Kelemens short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Jonatan Garikoitz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Yacanto's zone, Reynaldo Evis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Garikoitz came out of the goal and Reynaldo Evis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Abadia in the 92nd minute of play forced Ares fc's goalkeeper Vinicio Mitxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 98 minutes into the game, Ares fc's Celso Kelemen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonatan Garikoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The Yacanto supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ares fc's performance. The match ended with a win for Ares fc.
