After a defensive mix-up in chauu's zone, Andres Giro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Ortzi came out of the goal and Andres Giro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynaldo Segio struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Nicolas Fidele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for chauu. Carmelo Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Barrionuevo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. chauu's Carmelo Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Giro in the 10th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Andres Giro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Carmelo Ortzi to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Giro in the 17th minute of play forced chauu's goalkeeper Carmelo Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Patricios's Andres Giro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carmelo Ortzi. Carmelo Ortzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Andres Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Patricios a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Javier Dolfos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of chauu's Carmelo Ortzi. 3-0. Felix Rio kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Andres Giro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Andres Giro had several of the chauu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Carmelo Ortzi as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Andres Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Giro in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmelo Ortzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to chauu getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Rodolfo Marquez hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Patricios's Andres Giro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carmelo Ortzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santiago Barrionuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Ortzi having to interfere. Patricios's Carolo Llorenc was substituted for Tadeo Mede. If Andres Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 64 minutes, Andres Giro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patricios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Giro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Carolo Llorenc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hector Efren struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Hector Efren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of chauu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Patricios:s goal. Carmelo Ortzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Giro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquilino Nardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Ortzi having to interfere. chauu's Carmelo Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Giro in the 84th minute of play. Rodolfo Marquez got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Andres Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
