The supporters of chauu booed when Sunchu AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 19 in the game by Celedonio Crispo from a close distance when the talented Urbano Hernando managed to make a qualified save. Sunchu AFC's players were relieved. Alvaro Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Ortzi having to interfere. Urbano Hernando made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Celedonio Crispo sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in chauu's zone, Gavino Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Ortzi came out of the goal and Gavino Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The chauu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sunchu AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynaldo Segio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When chauu's Celedonio Crispo in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sunchu AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunchu AFC's goalkeeper Urbano Hernando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 minutes, Samuel Eguntsenti made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. chauu's Carmelo Ortzi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Sunchu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Crispo came free, but Urbano Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Segio in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbano Hernando saved Sunchu AFC from getting behind. Celedonio Crispo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbano Hernando having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Sunchu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Crispo came free, but Urbano Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Segio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Urbano Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sunchu AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
