The referee ignored Sebastian Veron F.C.'s protests and gave Rene Flores a yellow card for diving instead. Rene Flores hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Erasmo Remigio came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Fierrazo Social Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Remigio couldn't finish the play. Fierrazo Social Club's Aaron Txeru pulled a muscle in his back after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fierrazo Social Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Remigio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Sebastian Veron F.C.'s Melquiades Beila threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jairo Txindoki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Armando Nuno hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Ovidio Iliana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Veron F.C. were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Fierrazo Social Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Camilo Bizen took the corner. Camilo Bizen made a great header on Sebastian Veron F.C.'s corner, it was just that Fierrazo Social Club's Melquiades Beila managed to reach the ball for a save.
