The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Delmiro Bibiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Flor having to interfere. Gavino Urbasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Flor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Ramon Arnalt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sebastian Veron F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Arnalt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jairo Txindoki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Gonza made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ramon Arnalt sent off a good shot on target. Jairo Txindoki struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Diego Gonza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sebastian Veron F.C.. When Jairo Txindoki came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Sebastian Veron F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Txindoki couldn't finish the play. If Delmiro Bibiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Moise charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Moise the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Delmiro Bibiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Flor having to interfere. Donato Gil kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Bibiano in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Flor saved Sebastian Veron F.C. from getting behind. Diego Gonza came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sebastian Veron F.C.'s Ramon Arnalt. But to his dismay, Ramon Arnalt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jairo Txindoki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Diego Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Arnalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ramon Arnalts short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Diego Gonza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 43 minutes into the game, Lázaro Chan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ddx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sebastian Veron F.C. the free kick. Lázaro Chan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ddx's zone, Ramon Arnalt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Gonza came out of the goal and Ramon Arnalt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th match minute, Sebastian Veron F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Naldo to maneuver through the defense. Gavino Urbasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavio Flor having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavino Urbasa was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sebastian Veron F.C.'s goalkeeper Octavio Flor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute Jairo Txindoki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes, Ignacio Oier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ddx and the Sebastian Veron F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ddx getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ignacio Oier hit a great ball. Ramon Arnalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Gonza having to interfere. Gavino Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Gavino Urbasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sebastian Veron F.C.'s Octavio Flor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Gavino Urbasa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ddx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sebastian Veron F.C. the free kick. After 80 played minutes ddx got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Urbasa. After 81 played minutes Sebastian Veron F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Arnalt. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Bibiano got free with Octavio Flor in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Sebastian Veron F.C.'s Octavio Flor got control of the ball when Delmiro Bibiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute, Benito Moise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Delmiro Bibiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Flor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The ddx players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sebastian Veron F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
