With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Umbruso in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Bautista saved AkiCosquin from getting behind. Los Abejorros Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Oriche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Bautista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Hermengildo Oliviero shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When the referee ended the match the Los Abejorros Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
