Raul Henric who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Erasmo Estefan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jimeno Eguzki's late challenge caught a Gardey FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Eguzki helped the player get up and apologised. Jimeno Eguzki hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Raul Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 played minutes Cipolleti AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Eguzki. Paolo Incendio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Erasmo Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Cipolleti AFC's goalkeeper Erasmo Estefan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Henric. Constantino Quexal hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Gustavo Rufo in the 17th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Cipolleti AFC booed when Gardey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Ruperto Gil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isaias Oidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the game, Raul Henric cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Erasmo Estefan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raul Henric sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Constantino Quexal came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Cipolleti AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Quexal couldn't finish the play. If Paolo Incendio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes, Cipolleti AFC's Ricardo Rexino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isaias Oidor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cipolleti AFC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Incendio in the 45th minute of play forced Cipolleti AFC's goalkeeper Erasmo Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Raul Henric managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gardey FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Henric was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Estefan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Rufo to make the kick off. Isaias Oidor acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ricardo Rexino. Gardey FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Gustavo Rufo scored to the left of an out of position Isaias Oidor, making the score, 1-2. Isaias Oidor made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ruperto Gil sent off a good shot on target. Clodoveo Sendoa's late challenge caught a Cipolleti AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Sendoa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cipolleti AFC booed when Gardey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Sendoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruperto Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Isaias Oidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, Cipolleti AFC's Ruperto Gil made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaias Oidor was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Henric in the 73rd minute of play forced Cipolleti AFC's goalkeeper Erasmo Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Paolo Incendio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Estefan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Raul Henric made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Estefan. Cipolleti AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Gustavo Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Oidor having to interfere. The Cipolleti AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
