In the 2nd minute, Gogo Cilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Saul Petri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. AkiCosquin's Augusto Bautista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save AkiCosquin from getting a goal against them. Gogo Cilio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Camilo Pereyra struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Augusto Bautista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grasshopper FC. Marcial Dimas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaroslaw Kaider having to make a save. In the 22nd minute, Grasshopper FC's Camilo Pereyra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saul Petri during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Grasshopper FC booed when AkiCosquin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Petri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jaroslaw Kaider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Bautista made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Remigio Mendebal sent off a good shot on target. Remigio Mendebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Remigio Mendebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grasshopper FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigio Mendebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Petri to make the kick off. A collision led to AkiCosquin getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Timoteo Charro hit a great ball. When Camilo Pereyra came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Grasshopper FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Pereyra couldn't finish the play. Remigio Mendebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Augusto Bautista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Camilo Pereyra made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Bautista. AkiCosquin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 69th minute, David Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Pereyra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Bautista having to make a save. Augusto Bautista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Mendebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gogo Cilio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Pereyra in the 79th minute of play forced AkiCosquin's goalkeeper Augusto Bautista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaroslaw Kaider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Dimas in the 81st minute. Augusto Bautista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camilo Pereyra's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Augusto Bautista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Pereyra in the 94th minute of play. Grasshopper FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AkiCosquin for a fine match.
