Guillermo Tebaldo's late challenge caught a Sportivo Chancarita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Tebaldo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Cuyoj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Tebaldo to maneuver through the defense. Sportivo Chancarita's Amadeo Pere couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cuyoj. 14 minutes into the match, Christian Asur notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sportivo Chancarita's Benedicto Hegoi. Benedicto Hegoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Camilo Loiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Kinsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cuyoj booed when Sportivo Chancarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Cibran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cuyoj were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Sportivo Chancarita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cosme Telmo took the corner. After having played for 32 minutes, Anastasio Carlomagno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Chancarita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Carlomagno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Anastasio Carlomagno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuyoj's Camilo Loiola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serafino Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Hegoi having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Serafino Rivas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benedicto Hegoi. Serafino Rivas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Sportivo Chancarita's Benedicto Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Rivas in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Casimiro Amaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Loiola having to interfere. A collision led to Cuyoj getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bernardino Gonsalve hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Arsenio Cibran had to leave the field with a concussion. Bernardino Gonsalve kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Serafino Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Amaya struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Camilo Loiola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Chancarita. 67 minutes into the match, Nestor Kinsen notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cuyoj's Camilo Loiola. Camilo Loiola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benedicto Hegoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Asur, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Benedicto Hegoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Rivas in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cuyoj had won after a very even match.
