The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gardey FC. Isaias Oidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Pereyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Raul Henric received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jaroslaw Kaider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20th play minutes Camilo Pereyra shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Isaias Oidor and just under the crossbar into goal. Raul Henric who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Jaroslaw Kaider when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gardey FC's goalkeeper Isaias Oidor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Mendebal in the 28th minute of play forced Gardey FC's goalkeeper Isaias Oidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaias Oidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Pereyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Remigio Mendebal came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Grasshopper FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gardey FC's goalkeeper Isaias Oidor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Remigio Mendebal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaias Oidor was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Jose Ferran's late challenge caught a Grasshopper FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a left leg Isaias Oidor saved Gardey FC from getting behind. Remigio Mendebal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Isaias Oidor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Remigio Mendebal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 81st playminute. After having played for 84 minutes, Raul Henric managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gardey FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Henric was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Henric struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jaroslaw Kaider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gardey FC. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Grasshopper FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
