The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Ted got free with Fausto Ermano in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfonso Hibai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Herensuge in the 27th minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 28th minute, but Fausto Ermano got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving sinsemilla hanging dry this time. Fausto Ermano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nemesio Urki. Artemio Salvatore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Ermano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, sinsemilla's Aurelio Herensuge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Hibai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Aurelio Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The chaco albinegro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. sinsemilla were winning 0-1.

In the 55th minute, Aurelio Herensuge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genaro Luix struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Alfonso Hibai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for sinsemilla. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Aurelio Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot. sinsemilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Herensuge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Hibai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Genaro Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alfonso Hibai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Herensuge in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfonso Hibai, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Herensuge in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Hibai prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
