Alfonso Hibai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Mino in the 39th minute of play. Donato Pirmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Hibai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fermin Txerran's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Salvatore made a kick off. Marcelino Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Hibai having to interfere. Alfonso Hibai came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Chilindrina's Fermin Txerran. But to his dismay, Fermin Txerran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Chilindrina's Filomeno Banegas got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filomeno Banegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Hibai having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Donato Pirmin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chilindrina's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Pirmin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Hibai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Donato Pirmin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
