Romulo Urtsua yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Romulo Urtsua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Don Pedro II booed when Piro FC - River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Evis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Abilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Bartolo Herena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romulo Urtsua. The goal made the score 3-0. Yuri Batuecas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Urtsua having to interfere. Alonzo Abilio hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Severo Evis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Piro FC - River Plate's Romulo Urtsua got control of the ball when Feliberto Martxelin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bartolo Herena received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romulo Urtsua came out and tried to block the shot, but Bartolo Herena slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 29th minute. A collision led to Piro FC - River Plate getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Remigio Lamberto hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Bartolo Herena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romulo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Herena in the 45th minute of play. Bartolo Herena in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Romulo Urtsua, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Bartolo Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Bartolo Herena made the kick off in the second half. Yuri Batuecas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romulo Urtsua having to make a save. Piro FC - River Plate's Romulo Urtsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Batuecas in the 55th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Piro FC - River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Gonsalvo. In the 64th minute Don Pedro II were awarded a corner. Feliberto Martxelin went to the cornerflag to take it. After 65 played minutes Don Pedro II got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Bejgier. The audience was convinced that Bartolo Herena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romulo Urtsua was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Bartolo Herena took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romulo Urtsua. Romulo Urtsua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Don Pedro II's Silvio Rocio was substituted for Jairo Arnalt. In the 80thth minute of the game Bartolo Herena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piro FC - River Plate's Romulo Urtsua was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Don Pedro II's Bartolo Herena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romulo Urtsua made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 92nd minute, Bartolo Herena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Urtsua was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Don Pedro II fully deserved thier win.
