Alfonso Hibai came out of the goal and Serafin Beat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Marino's late challenge caught a Recreo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Marino helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, chaco albinegro's Julio Marino got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Recreo's Serafin Beat broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alfonso Hibai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Donostia, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Recreo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Artemio Salvatore 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alejo Donostia made a kick off. Alfonso Hibai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Ishmael in the 58th minute. Felix Hernando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Julio Marino was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. The supporters of Recreo booed when chaco albinegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Marino didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Alejo Donostia took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Alfonso Hibai to make any attempt to save it. chaco albinegro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
