Spectators: 7250 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filomeno Txatxu started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Fernando Lesardo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Talleres's Lino Llanos. Lino Llanos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernando Lesardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lino Llanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Juan Beliran got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Edelmiro Cresitobalo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Talleres's Lino Llanos didn't even have to move. If Fernando Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Talleres getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Raul Elorri hit a great ball. Anselmo Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Txatxu in the 33rd minute of play. After 33 minutes, Gaspar Jordy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballester Crows and the Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaspar Jordy hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Eustaquio Quirce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres's zone, Cayetano Fero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Llanos came out of the goal and Cayetano Fero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Filomeno Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ballester Crows's Anselmo Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Quirce in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Lesardo came free, but Lino Llanos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Lino Llanos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anselmo Balasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Txatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Fernando Lesardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Llanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Txatxu in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Balasi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filomeno Txatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Balasi having to interfere. Talleres's Lino Llanos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Talleres from getting a goal against them. Raul Elorri's late challenge caught a Ballester Crows's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Elorri helped the player get up and apologised. Raul Elorri kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Cayetano Fero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Fernando Lesardo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lino Llanos, passed just outside the right post. Cayetano Fero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Llanos having to interfere. After some careless play in the Talleres defense, Cayetano Fero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Llanos. The Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Llanos should have stopped the shot.
