In the 5th minute, Victoriano Birila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, Arnoldo Elorri made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Tajo. Noetinger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Ivan Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Noetinger getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rigoberto Incendio hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Arnoldo Elorri made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Tajo. Noetinger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Noetinger's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Birila came free, but Norberto Tajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Noetinger defense, Arnoldo Elorri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Tajo. The Noetinger fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Tajo should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, La Revancha Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Guzman came free, but Marcos Beltza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Norberto Tajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dante Guzman came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Noetinger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Guzman couldn't finish the play. Ivan Abechuco spun around in front of the goal 46 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of La Revancha Fútbol Club's goal. After 49 minutes of play, Noetinger's Ivan Abechuco made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Beltza was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Victoriano Birila made the kick off in the second half. La Revancha Fútbol Club's Marcos Beltza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save La Revancha Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. Dante Guzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dante Guzman came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Noetinger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Guzman couldn't finish the play. Norberto Tajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Birila in the 75th minute of play. Ivan Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Marcos Beltza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anacleto Ciano fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Revancha Fútbol Club's protests and gave Anacleto Ciano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Noetinger booed when La Revancha Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Ciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noetinger's Ivan Iigo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La Revancha Fútbol Club. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Guzman in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Beltza saved La Revancha Fútbol Club from getting behind. Marcos Beltza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Guzman's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After 85 played minutes La Revancha Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Buinton. After a defensive mix-up in La Revancha Fútbol Club's zone, Ivan Abechuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Beltza came out of the goal and Ivan Abechuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Joel Pabla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, La Revancha Fútbol Club's Marcos Beltza got control of the ball when Ivan Abechuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Beltza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Guzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th match minute, La Revancha Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Buinton to maneuver through the defense. The La Revancha Fútbol Club support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
