In the 11th match minute, Ballester Crows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Cordarrel to maneuver through the defense. If Arnoldo Elorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Cayetano Fero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballester Crows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Fero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Beltza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Lesardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Arnoldo Elorri took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Balasi. Anselmo Balasi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Anselmo Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Birila in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Fernando Lesardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Beltza. La Revancha Fútbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Lesardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in La Revancha Fútbol Club's zone, Cayetano Fero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Beltza came out of the goal and Cayetano Fero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Lesardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Beltza having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Lesardo made a kick off. Victoriano Birila might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Balasi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victoriano Birila ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Elorri in the 65th minute of play forced Ballester Crows's goalkeeper Anselmo Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Balasi having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, La Revancha Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Ciano to maneuver through the defense. La Revancha Fútbol Club's Marcos Beltza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save La Revancha Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Lesardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Beltza. That made the score 2-2 in the 81 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Ballester Crows's Marcos Beltza threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernando Lesardo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnoldo Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Balasi having to interfere. Victoriano Birila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Balasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Elorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Arnoldo Elorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
