The crowd rose to their feet as Luciano Arias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celso Dorio. That made the score 1-2 in the 9 minute of play. Hermengildo Harri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Dorio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC PORTO's zone, Esteve Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Cai came out of the goal and Esteve Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sandro Pereira, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 18 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Silvio Cai was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cristo Guerau hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. A collision led to ᴋʜᴀʟᴇᴇꜱɪ ꜰ.ᴄ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. 卓辰德 hit a great ball. Celso Dorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Harri in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, FC PORTO's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Elazar came free, but Silvio Cai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Esteve Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Cai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC PORTO's Victorio Precioso got a free kick in the 30th minute. Sandro Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Cai having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Harri in the 45th minute of play forced ᴋʜᴀʟᴇᴇꜱɪ ꜰ.ᴄ's goalkeeper Celso Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half ᴋʜᴀʟᴇᴇꜱɪ ꜰ.ᴄ were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteve Elazar to strike the kick off in the second half. Esteve Elazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteve Elazar got free with Silvio Cai in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 56 in the game by Esteve Elazar from a close distance when the talented Silvio Cai managed to make a qualified save. FC PORTO's players were relieved. 57 minutes into the game, Esteve Elazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Silvio Cai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvio Cai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Pereira in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, ᴋʜᴀʟᴇᴇꜱɪ ꜰ.ᴄ's Esteve Elazar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvio Cai. Silvio Cai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. If Sandro Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvio Cai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandro Pereira's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 73rdth minute of the game Sandro Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC PORTO's Silvio Cai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 minutes, Sandro Pereira made it 1-7 with a short kick to the right side. FC PORTO's Silvio Cai tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteve Elazar in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silvio Cai, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sandro Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Cai having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC PORTO defense, Esteve Elazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Cai. The FC PORTO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Cai should have stopped the shot. Esteve Elazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Sandro Pereira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silvio Cai. Sandro Pereira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. ᴋʜᴀʟᴇᴇꜱɪ ꜰ.ᴄ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
