Anselmo Balasi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Ballester Crows's Fernando Lesardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lino Llanos. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 29th minute, Talleres's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fernando Lesardo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Raul Elorri's late challenge caught a Ballester Crows's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Elorri helped the player get up and apologised. Raul Elorri kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Lino Llanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Lesardo in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Ballester Crows's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Quirce came free, but Anselmo Balasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Cayetano Fero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lino Llanos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Talleres's Lino Llanos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Talleres from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Fero got free with Lino Llanos in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Txatxu to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Txatxu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Balasi was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Filomeno Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Anselmo Balasi stood somewhat misplaced when Filomeno Txatxu came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 92 minute. In the 97th minute Cayetano Fero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Llanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ballester Crows had won after a very even match.
