Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Virgilio Lope got the match started through his kick off. Aristides Henric showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Lope in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Isaac Rosio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GerpyFC's Venancio Urtungo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Victorio Alfonso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensa y Pinina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GerpyFC the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Defensa y Pinina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Alfonso to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, Venancio Urtungo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GerpyFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Urtungo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melquiades Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Segio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Venancio Urtungo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Aristides Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilio Lope in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristides Henric prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virgilio Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Venancio Urtungo managed to get in a good position for a shot. GerpyFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Urtungo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Henric breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 39 minutes, Virgilio Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GerpyFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Lope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Virgilio Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Mirande kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When Hermengildo Senon fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensa y Pinina's protests and gave Hermengildo Senon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Defensa y Pinina's Hermengildo Senon got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Segio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Venancio Urtungo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aristides Henric. That made the score 0-1 in the 51 minute of play. Hermengildo Senon got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Hermengildo Senon hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Jonathan Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The GerpyFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Aristides Henric made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Lope in the 84th minute. With a little luck, Defensa y Pinina's Aristides Henric got control of the ball when Virgilio Lope tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Virgilio Lope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, GerpyFC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Alfonso came free, but Melquiades Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded GerpyFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Defensa y Pinina.
