In the 3rd minute Venancio Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Nahia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Lope in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabian Nahia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Naelio in the 6th minute of play forced GerpyFC's goalkeeper Melquiades Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Rigoberto Guilabertus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carnerito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Guilabertus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Alfonso Naelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabio Mateo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, one of Carnerito AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, GerpyFC's Ramiro Hunfredo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fabian Nahia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Urtungo in the 20th minute of play forced Carnerito AFC's goalkeeper Fabian Nahia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes Carnerito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Guilabertus. In the 22nd minute of the match, Virgilio Lope got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabian Nahia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Lope got free with Fabian Nahia in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Venancio Urtungo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabian Nahia, 2-0. If Venancio Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Goyo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Venancio Urtungo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Nahia having to interfere. Rigoberto Guilabertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Carnerito AFC's Fabian Nahia got control of the ball when Virgilio Lope tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabian Nahia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. After a rather tough play, GerpyFC's Raul Goyo got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigoberto Ostargi made a kick off. GerpyFC's Venancio Urtungo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Virgilio Lope made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Nahia. Carnerito AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 59th minute, Horacio Rufio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rigoberto Guilabertus hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Fabian Nahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Urtungo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Froilan Kaiet during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GerpyFC booed when Carnerito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Kaiet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Virgilio Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GerpyFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Lope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Raul Goyo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GerpyFC's protests and gave Raul Goyo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carnerito AFC booed when GerpyFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Oidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GerpyFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Carnerito AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
