Venancio Urtungo struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Everardo Tulio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GerpyFC. Everardo Tulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Lope in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Mincho in the 19th minute of play forced GerpyFC's goalkeeper Melquiades Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Janpier acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Severino Eleder. In the 24th match minute, Apacheta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Mincho to maneuver through the defense. When GerpyFC's Virgilio Lope in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Lope in the 41st minute of play forced Apacheta FC's goalkeeper Everardo Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Severino Eleder sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Melquiades Janpier threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Severino Eleder this time. Apacheta FC's Everardo Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Rayman in the 45th minute of play. In the 49th minute, GerpyFC's Oscar Rayman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Oscar Rayman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GerpyFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Oscar Rayman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Melquiades Janpier had in the 51stth minute some difficulties stopping Diego Sesuldo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgilio Lope to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Apacheta FC's zone, Horacio Rufio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Tulio came out of the goal and Horacio Rufio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Lope in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Everardo Tulio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Apacheta FC's Everardo Tulio got control of the ball when Virgilio Lope tried to sneak it across the goal line. Everardo Tulio came out of the goal and Ivan Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apacheta FC's Everardo Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Lope in the 98th minute of play. The Apacheta FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GerpyFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
