Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Defensa y Pinina's Jonathan Segio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Sampacho's Victorio Aurre got control of the ball when Jairo Mirande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Prudencio Berriotxoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes of play, Sampacho's Remigio Galtero made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Henric was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristides Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Berriotxoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Defensa y Pinina's zone, Prudencio Berriotxoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Henric came out of the goal and Prudencio Berriotxoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sampacho's Remigio Galtero got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Remigio Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Galtero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sampacho's Prudencio Berriotxoa got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remigio Galtero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Henric having to interfere. Remigio Galtero scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Henric, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victorio Alfonso hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Aristides Henric showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Galtero in the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remigio Galtero to strike the kick off in the second half. Sampacho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermengildo Senon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 64th minute of the match, Remigio Galtero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aristides Henric was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aristides Henric came out of the goal and Prudencio Berriotxoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Galtero got free with Aristides Henric in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sampacho's Prudencio Berriotxoa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jonathan Segio charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Segio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, Jonathan Segio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 83 minutes, Prudencio Berriotxoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sampacho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Berriotxoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristides Henric made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remigio Galtero in the 85th minute. Remigio Galtero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Aristides Henric skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jaime Orlan's late challenge caught a Sampacho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Orlan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Defensa y Pinina getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jaime Orlan hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Prudencio Berriotxoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sampacho's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Berriotxoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Henric breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sampacho played a much better game than Defensa y Pinina and deserved their victory. The Defensa y Pinina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
