After a rather tough play, Defensa y Pinina's Victorio Alfonso got a free kick in the 19th minute. Melchor Francesco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Mirande in the 26th minute. The supporters of knaya booed when Defensa y Pinina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Senon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Defensa y Pinina got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Orlan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Segio in the 48th minute of play forced knaya's goalkeeper Melchor Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Jaime Orlan made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rigoberto George immediately put the ball in play. Hermengildo Senon scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchor Francesco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvio Godoy hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jonathan Segio took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melchor Francesco.
