Leonides Ricart charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonides Ricart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, one of Solano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Solano. The referee gave Defensa y Pinina a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jaime Orlan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Solano's Federico Bladi. 0-1. Lucas Steven kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Solano! In the 25th match minute, Solano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Ricart to maneuver through the defense. Hermengildo Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorio Alfonso during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victorio Alfonso kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Adolfo Feliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aristides Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Solano's Federico Bladi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Senon in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Solano's Florentino Monico got a free kick in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Defensa y Pinina's Hermengildo Senon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Bladi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Jonathan Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Bladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Segio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Senon got free with Federico Bladi in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Solano's Rolando Asteri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Defensa y Pinina. Adolfo Feliu hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Defensa y Pinina's Jaime Orlan tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 78 minutes, Lucas Steven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Steven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 79 minutes of play Defensa y Pinina's Victorio Alfonso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Victorio Alfonso hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Lucas Steven came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Solano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Steven couldn't finish the play. If Lucas Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Steven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Ricart in the 92nd minute of play forced Defensa y Pinina's goalkeeper Aristides Henric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Steven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Defensa y Pinina's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
