Lucas Lore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Argenis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Mantzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Constantino Vitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Vachon hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Arsenio Cerilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Tacura FC's Damaso Vachon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to Tacura FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Damaso Vachon hit a great ball. If Fernando Mantzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Rey's late challenge caught a River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Rey helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tacura FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Zacarias Rey hit a great ball. River Plate's Elias Caradaro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tacura FC. Blas Gentza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantino Vitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, River Plate's goalkeeper Lucas Lore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arsenio Cerilo. After 42 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Lamberto. Edgard Argenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Lore having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Argenis was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Edgard Argenis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacura FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Argenis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Lore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Edgard Argenis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fernando Mantzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Raul Salvatore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tacura FC's zone, Blas Gentza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Vitin came out of the goal and Blas Gentza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Tacura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Mantzio came free, but Constantino Vitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tacura FC's Edgard Argenis in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye River Plate's goalie prevented a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Edgard Argenis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Lore. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Argenis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Arsenio Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Lore having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Raul Salvatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Tacura FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
