Benigno Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Tulio having to interfere. Gilberto Moise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Everardo Tulio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Benigno Koldobika managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uturango AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Koldobika was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Tulio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Omar Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Marin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Urbes's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Omar Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilberto Moise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Uturango AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Benito Urko hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Benito Urko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Omar Urbes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilberto Moise might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Everardo Tulio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Moise ran back to his position shaking his head. Benigno Koldobika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laureano Mincho was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Uturango AFC's zone, Omar Urbes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Marin came out of the goal and Omar Urbes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Siro Lorenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofilo Marin was a little too slow when Laureano Mincho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-1. The supporters of Uturango AFC booed when Apacheta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Veremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Laureano Mincho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Koldobika in the 66th minute of play forced Apacheta FC's goalkeeper Everardo Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Benigno Koldobika managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uturango AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benigno Koldobika was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apacheta FC's Everardo Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Koldobika in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Gilberto Moise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uturango AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Moise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apacheta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Moise was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Gilberto Moise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Tulio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Koldobika's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. After 97 played minutes Apacheta FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Mincho. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Uturango AFC fully deserved thier win.
