The referee ignored Sampacho's protests and gave Luisito Quexal a yellow card for diving instead. Federico Bladi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Galtero in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Sampacho were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
