Spectators: 6680 (Terracing: 5002, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 3) Eduardo Eztebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Lohitzun having to interfere. Lázaro Lohitzun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justino Ekain went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lázaro Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Eztebe in the 10th minute of play. La Ilusha's Lázaro Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Ekain in the 12th minute of play. Eriberto Eleder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Narciso Tino came out and tried to block the shot, but Eriberto Eleder slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 15th minute. La22's Narciso Tino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save La22 from getting a goal against them. If Justino Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes of play, La22's Eduardo Eztebe made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lázaro Lohitzun was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Eduardo Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, La22's Eduardo Eztebe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Lohitzun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half La22 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some careless play in the La Ilusha defense, Justino Ekain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lázaro Lohitzun. The La Ilusha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Lohitzun should have stopped the shot. Eduardo Eztebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lázaro Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Pirro kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. La22's Albano Ederono suffered a sore thigh after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 80 minutes, Benito Onbera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Ilusha and the La22 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, La Ilusha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Onbera to maneuver through the defense. If Eriberto Eleder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in La Ilusha's zone, Justino Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Lohitzun came out of the goal and Justino Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the game, Benicio Tipi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Ilusha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La22 the free kick. After 91 played minutes La Ilusha got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Tipi. Lázaro Lohitzun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Ekain in the 93rd minute.
