The Muschaca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Ramond should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Jeronimo Rami made a precise shot to the right of Freddy Marino. Patricios's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Leonel Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Ramond having to interfere. In the 18th minute Ismael Iraunkor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Ramond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Normando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Ramond made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Jeronimo Rami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes, Celedonio Oliviero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patricios and the Muschaca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Hugo Chan came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Muschaca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Chan couldn't finish the play. Freddy Marino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Chan's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Paulo Normando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Ramond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Ismael Iraunkor scored 2-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Ramond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Eustacio Atarrabi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Marino was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Paulo Normando might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Ramond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Normando ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Patricios's goalkeeper Freddy Marino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ismael Iraunkors short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Arnaldo Ramond to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Ismael Iraunkor made the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Ramond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Iraunkor in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Iraunkor in the 56th minute of play forced Muschaca FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Ramond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Ramond came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Patricios's Ismael Iraunkor. But to his dismay, Ismael Iraunkor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Hugo Chan charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Chan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Chan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Paulo Normando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Jeronimo Rami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustacio Atarrabi struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Freddy Marino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muschaca FC. Eustacio Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Marino having to interfere. When Nestor Orlanda fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muschaca FC's protests and gave Nestor Orlanda a yellow card for diving instead. Arnaldo Ramond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Patricios's Ismael Iraunkor got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Eustacio Atarrabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muschaca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Atarrabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Marino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Muschaca FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Honorio Norino hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Patricios had won after a very even match.
