Ismael Iraunkor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, La Ilusha's Eriberto Eleder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Marino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ismael Iraunkor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lázaro Lohitzun was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 28 played minutes La Ilusha got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Fe. After 30 minutes, Rolando Millan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Ilusha and the Patricios players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, La Ilusha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Millan to maneuver through the defense. If Paulo Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Marino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Eleder in the 34th minute of play. Freddy Marino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Corderro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leonel Aires fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patricios's protests and gave Leonel Aires a yellow card for diving instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Eleder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Patricios getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cristian Lizar hit a great ball. Freddy Marino made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Jonathan Corderro sent off a good shot on target. Benicio Tipi's late challenge caught a Patricios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Tipi helped the player get up and apologised. Benicio Tipi kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ismael Iraunkor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Casimiro Behe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Corderro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 played minutes Patricios got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Aires. Freddy Marino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Eleder in the 69th minute of play. Abelardo Quinteros kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the last second Freddy Marino throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eriberto Eleder in the 78thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ismael Iraunkor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Ilusha's zone, Paulo Normando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Lohitzun came out of the goal and Paulo Normando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismael Iraunkor struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Lázaro Lohitzun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patricios. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Normando in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Lohitzun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Normando struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lázaro Lohitzun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patricios. In the 94th match minute, Patricios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Cristos to maneuver through the defense. Freddy Marino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Eleder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricios were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
