In the 10th minute Hugo Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, River fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Manuelo to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Ramond made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Ricardo Felo sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 30 minutes, Martin Nofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Nofre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Muschaca FC's Eustacio Atarrabi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilo Cristofol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Arnaldo Ramond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Nofre in the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Eustacio Atarrabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teofilo Cristofol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Hugo Chan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Cristofol was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Muschaca FC's zone, Martin Nofre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Ramond came out of the goal and Martin Nofre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Nofre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Arnaldo Ramond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Ramond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Nofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustacio Atarrabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teofilo Cristofol made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Eustacio Atarrabi sent off a good shot on target. River fc's Teofilo Cristofol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save River fc from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Felo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
