With 3 minutes on the clock, Erasmo Papo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 2 minutes into the game, one of Sucre AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for American Ipa FC. Froilan Lazcano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabricio Delfino. 0-1. Fabricio Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Ipar in the 10th minute of play forced Sucre AFC's goalkeeper Fabricio Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Mark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siro Ofelio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Clemente Garin firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Mark in the 28th minute of play forced Sucre AFC's goalkeeper Fabricio Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Bernat hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Atilano Felo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Ofelio struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Clemente Garin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sucre AFC. If Gregorio Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Ofelio to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in American Ipa FC's zone, Siro Ofelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Garin came out of the goal and Siro Ofelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When American Ipa FC's Alejo Colas in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sucre AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Sucre AFC booed when American Ipa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Mark didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Siro Ofelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Garin. American Ipa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Siro Ofelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Gregorio Nardo took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Garin. Clemente Garin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Angelo Mark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Fabricio Delfino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabricio Delfino made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Angelo Mark sent off a good shot on target. Angelo Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Delfino having to interfere. If Alejo Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. American Ipa FC's Alejo Colas got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Garin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, American Ipa FC's Carmelo Castulo got a free kick in the 97th minute. Omar Txilar, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
