After 3 played minutes, SCyD Santa Rita's Zeledon Bernat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgard Iruinea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SCyD Santa Rita reached it. Luciano Cugat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celso Playo having to make a save. After a rather tough play, SCyD Santa Rita's Damian Dacio got a free kick in the 5th minute. Luciano Cugat struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Celso Playo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aranguren. After 9 played minutes Omar Ekaitz rounded SCyD Santa Rita's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Aristides Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Aranguren's Edgard Iruinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Faro in the 15th minute of play. Vicente Natanael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Faro in the 18th minute of play. Manuel Cordarin kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Omar Ekaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SCyD Santa Rita's Enrique Blanco got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SCyD Santa Rita's goalkeeper Celso Playo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Cugat got free with Celso Playo in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacarias Faro made a kick off. Vicente Natanael's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Edgard Iruinea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 53rd match minute, Aranguren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Orlandus to maneuver through the defense. Celso Playo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Cugat in the 58th minute of the match. SCyD Santa Rita's Celso Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Ekaitz in the 59th minute of play. Zeledon Bernat hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Gai was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. SCyD Santa Rita's Celso Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Ekaitz in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 minutes, Desiderio Behe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SCyD Santa Rita and the Aranguren players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vicente Natanael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rdth minute of the game Zacarias Faro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aranguren's Edgard Iruinea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgard Iruinea was a little too slow when Zacarias Faro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Vicente Natanael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Luciano Cugat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celso Playo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Eladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
