It was a penalty for Argentino del Sur FC! In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Hualcama AFC. Nicasio Jerico stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Artemio Roderigo. 0-1. In the 17th minute, Nicasio Jerico sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Argentino del Sur FC's Artemio Roderigo didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Hualcama AFC's zone, Lucas Sesuldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saverio Bernebe came out of the goal and Lucas Sesuldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romulo Shepherd's late challenge caught a Hualcama AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Shepherd helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Romulo Shepherd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Maureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Abajas in the 34th minute of play forced Argentino del Sur FC's goalkeeper Artemio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Victorio Goiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hualcama AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argentino del Sur FC the free kick. Victorio Goiz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Amadeo Oihenarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artemio Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Abajas in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The Argentino del Sur FC fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Argentino del Sur FC's Rolando Maureo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Saverio Bernebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Maureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeo Oihenarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Artemio Roderigo made a huge save. Lucas Sesuldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saverio Bernebe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Sesuldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Amadeo Oihenarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Roderigo having to interfere. With his leg Artemio Roderigo managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Hualcama AFC's Rogelio Abajas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rogelio Abajas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artemio Roderigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Oihenarte got free with Artemio Roderigo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicasio Jerico hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match Flavio Montrelle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saverio Bernebe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amadeo Oihenarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Artemio Roderigo made a huge save. Lucas Sesuldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Saverio Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Argentino del Sur FC booed when Hualcama AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Goiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hualcama AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Valentin Nafarroa hit a great ball. Lucas Sesuldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Bernebe having to interfere. Hualcama AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
