Amadeo Oihenarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Fernan Isadore made a huge save. Hualcama AFC's Nicasio Jerico couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo Mbarete. 19 minutes into the game, Severino Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Mbarete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hualcama AFC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Deportivo Mbarete fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Deportivo Mbarete:s Fernan Isadore showed great skill when he stopped Nicasio Jerico:s penalty. A collision led to Hualcama AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Angelo Roano hit a great ball. In the 29th play minute Amadeo Oihenarte came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fernan Isadore. 1-0. The supporters of Hualcama AFC booed when Deportivo Mbarete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Amadeo Oihenarte came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Hualcama AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Oihenarte couldn't finish the play. Rogelio Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Isadore having to interfere. Deportivo Mbarete's Elpidio Sandaili got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Abajas to make the kick off. Rogelio Abajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fernan Isadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Elpidio Sandaili was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Christian Romano kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 71stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Hualcama AFC's keeper Saverio Bernebe was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Saverio Bernebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Romano in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Hualcama AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Goiz. Amadeo Oihenarte struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Fernan Isadore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hualcama AFC. Fernan Isadore came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Hualcama AFC's Rogelio Abajas. But to his dismay, Rogelio Abajas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Deportivo Mbarete's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
