Fernan Isadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Ekaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Aranguren's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Romano came free, but Edgard Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Omar Ekaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aranguren's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Ekaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Isadore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20thth minute of the game Omar Ekaitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Mbarete's Fernan Isadore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hilario Firman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Edgard Iruinea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Pastor Cordaro from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Fernan Isadore's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Deportivo Mbarete's Fernan Isadore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Ekaitz in the 29th minute of play. Edgard Iruinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Sandaili in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Aranguren's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Sandaili came free, but Edgard Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Deportivo Mbarete's Fernan Isadore got control of the ball when Luciano Cugat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Omar Ekaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Isadore having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Aranguren got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Gai. After 44th play minutes Christian Romano shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Edgard Iruinea and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half Deportivo Mbarete were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Sandaili was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Christian Romano from a close distance when the talented Edgard Iruinea managed to make a qualified save. Aranguren's players were relieved. Aristides Orlandus was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Aristides Orlandus hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Elpidio Sandaili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elpidio Sandaili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Iruinea having to interfere. In the 63rd minute of the match, Elpidio Sandaili tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgard Iruinea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 72 played minutes Aranguren got a freekick which was hit by Omar Ekaitz. Edgard Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Sandaili in the 77th minute of play. When Christian Romano came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Deportivo Mbarete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Romano couldn't finish the play. After having played for 88 minutes, Elpidio Sandaili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Mbarete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Sandaili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Sandaili struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Edgard Iruinea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Mbarete. Edgard Iruinea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Romano in the 95th minute.
