Rogelio Abajas started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Norberto Hartz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hualcama AFC and the Barrilete Cósmico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Hualcama AFC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Hartz. Anibal Olo scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saverio Bernebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anibal Olo struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Saverio Bernebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrilete Cósmico. After having played for 22 minutes, Anibal Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrilete Cósmico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Olo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Orain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anibal Olo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Barrilete Cósmico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Olo couldn't finish the play. Hualcama AFC's Saverio Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Orain in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Barrilete Cósmico's Tomás Orain made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saverio Bernebe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barrilete Cósmico's Anibal Olo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hualcama AFC's Norberto Hartz got a free kick in the 41st minute. The Hualcama AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barrilete Cósmico were winning 1-2.

If Tomás Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Barrilete Cósmico's zone, Rogelio Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Oxarra came out of the goal and Rogelio Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hualcama AFC were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Barrilete Cósmico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicasio Jerico took the corner. With his leg Saverio Bernebe managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Barrilete Cósmico's Anibal Olo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Amadeo Oihenarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Anibal Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrilete Cósmico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Olo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hualcama AFC's Saverio Bernebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Hualcama AFC from getting a goal against them. After 95 played minutes Hualcama AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Goiz. The audience was convinced that Tomás Orain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saverio Bernebe was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Anibal Olo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrilete Cósmico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
