After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Benito Nardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itatí AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Nardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Chico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lorenzo Satordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Oliverios's late challenge caught a Itatí AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Oliverios helped the player get up and apologised. Itatí AFC's Federico Estavan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PERRITO MALVADO. Benito Nardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Claudio Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joel Bernebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Colon hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match Ubaldo Vergaray sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Francesco skillfully saved the ball. Benito Nardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, PERRITO MALVADO's goalkeeper Claudio Chico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Raymundo. PERRITO MALVADO's Claudio Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Nardo in the 29th minute of play. Joel Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Satordi in the 32nd minute of the match. Marcos Raymundo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 34th playminute. In the 38th minute Melchor Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Satordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Joel Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itatí AFC's goalkeeper Joel Francesco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Nardo was the one to do the kick off. Benito Nardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Claudio Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, one of PERRITO MALVADO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PERRITO MALVADO. When Marcos Raymundo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Itatí AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Raymundo couldn't finish the play. Benito Nardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Claudio Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Nardo in the 81st minute of play. In the 81st minute, Joel Bernebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Raymundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Chico having to interfere. Nicanor Oliverios hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Raymundo in the 85th minute of play forced PERRITO MALVADO's goalkeeper Claudio Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Chico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Raymundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Francesco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ubaldo Vergaray. With a little luck, Itatí AFC's Joel Francesco got control of the ball when Melchor Rios tried to sneak it across the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Itatí AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Satordi came free, but Joel Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Itatí AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while PERRITO MALVADO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
