But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Indartsu couldn't finish the play. Garabato FC's Edgard Mikelats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Ihazintu in the 21st minute of play. After 23rd play minutes Clemente Ihazintu shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Edgard Mikelats and just under the crossbar into goal. Clemente Ihazintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Edgard Mikelats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Norino's late challenge caught a Garabato FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonzo Norino helped the player get up and apologised. Alonzo Norino hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Edgardo Indartsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Mikelats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Clemente Ihazintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Edgard Mikelats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Garabato FC's zone, Edgardo Indartsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Mikelats came out of the goal and Edgardo Indartsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Garabato FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hernan Tabor hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Edgardo Indartsu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edgard Mikelats, passed just outside the right post. Elias Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Edgard Mikelats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Diaz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes, Adolfo Rey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garabato FC and the Olimpic Gym players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Adolfo Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd match minute, Garabato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Gustau to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Edgardo Indartsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimpic Gym's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Indartsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Mikelats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Clemente Ihazintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Garabato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Indartsu came free, but Edgard Mikelats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes Garabato FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Sugar. When the final whistle sounded Olimpic Gym left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Garabato FC.
