In the 6th minute, Baldomiro Iratxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ruben Castulo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Ramos was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Gualterio Tohias kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Castulo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruben Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Ramos having to interfere. Cecilio Frederik hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Baldomiro Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ruben Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Evarado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Lanus United AC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerardo Evarado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 32nd minute, Baldomiro Iratxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33 played minutes Peña FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Criston. When Ruben Castulo came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Lanus United AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Castulo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Lanus United AC's zone, Teo Iigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Celio came out of the goal and Teo Iigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerardo Evarado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Prudencio Celio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Gerardo Evarado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Iigo was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Teo Iigo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lanus United AC's Prudencio Celio. Prudencio Celio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peña FC's goalkeeper Denis Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruben Castulo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Denis Ramos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Denis Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Iratxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Iigo in the 72nd minute of play forced Lanus United AC's goalkeeper Prudencio Celio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
