Federico Estavan's late challenge caught a Lanus United AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Estavan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lanus United AC booed when Itatí AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Prudencio Celio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Prudencio Celio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Raymundo in the 39th minute of play. Lanus United AC's Prudencio Celio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Nardo in the 42nd minute of play. Baldomiro Iratxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Francesco having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Israel Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanus United AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Demario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Francesco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Itatí AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
