The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Victor Cordearo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Oskitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Rey having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Bazil in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Ceandro saved Lolog from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Cordearo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Rey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Oskitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Cordearo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Maximino Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Bazil in the 29th minute of play forced Lolog's goalkeeper Vinicio Ceandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Oskitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Rey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Facha Futbol Club's Celedonio Txomin got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Lolog's Vinicio Ceandro got control of the ball when Celedonio Txomin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Lolog booed when Facha Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Jaime Bazil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Facha Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Bazil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Ceandro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Jaime Bazil took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vinicio Ceandro to make any attempt to save it. In the 47th match minute, Facha Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Danel to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Bazil was the one to do the kick off. Lolog's Vinicio Ceandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Bazil in the 52nd minute of play. Vinicio Ceandro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Txomin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Txomin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Ceandro having to interfere. Jaime Bazil succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Octavio Lia charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavio Lia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Facha Futbol Club booed when Lolog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Lia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinicio Ceandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Bazil, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Jaime Bazil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vinicio Ceandro. Lolog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Bazil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 81 minutes into the match, Lolog's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Txomin came free, but Vinicio Ceandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Victor Cordearo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Danel kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Silvano Caitano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Facha Futbol Club's Maximino Rey didn't even have to move. When Mariano Oskitz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 92 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Maximino Rey was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Maximino Rey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Oskitz's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Jaime Bazil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Facha Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Bazil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
