The referee ignored Lanus United AC's protests and gave Victor Caetano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lanus United AC's Victor Caetano got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Iratxo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celso Clis, 1-0. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Justino Rocio made the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the match, chelsea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Castulo came free, but Celso Clis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Castulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Nataniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Prudencio Celio made a huge save. If Ruben Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Iratxo in the 75th minute of play forced chelsea FC's goalkeeper Celso Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Iratxo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Clis saved chelsea FC from getting behind. The supporters of Lanus United AC booed when chelsea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Leobardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Lanus United AC's Israel Demario tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Ramon Nataniel made a precise shot to the right of Prudencio Celio. Lanus United AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The supporters of Lanus United AC booed when chelsea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Idacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Baldomiro Iratxo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Lanus United AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Iratxo couldn't finish the play. Justino Rocio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Prudencio Celio made a huge save.
