When Armando Louis came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Aldosivi mdq fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Louis couldn't finish the play. Honorato Maureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Ramos having to interfere. After some careless play in the Peña FC defense, Armando Louis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Ramos. The Peña FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Ramos should have stopped the shot.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Iigo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Maureo in the 53rd minute of play forced Peña FC's goalkeeper Denis Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Martxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee ignored Aldosivi mdq's protests and gave Armando Louis a yellow card for diving instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Aldosivi mdq had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
